Los habitantes de Oymyak\u00f3n se siente ofendidos porque Verjoyansk dice ser la ciudad m\u00e1s fr\u00eda de todo el hemisferio norte, con la excusa de que registraron la temperatura m\u00e1s baja de la regi\u00f3n el 6 de febrero de 1933 con menos 67.8 grados Celsius.<\/p>\n

Oymyak\u00f3n est\u00e1 situada a unos tres d\u00edas de viaje por carretera desde Yakutsk. Una cosa muy curiosa es que las escuelas de esta localidad se mantienen abiertas incluso cuando la temperatura exterior est\u00e1 a menos 46 grados Celsius.<\/p>\n

La ciudad est\u00e1 situada cerca de unas fuentes termales, pero para disfrutar de ellas los habitantes tienen que ser capaces de romper la dura capa de hielo que las cubre.<\/p>\n

La oficina de turismo publicita Oymyak\u00f3n como un destino idal para los aventureros que buscan vivencias extremas.
