7 – Peter Falk in ”Wings of Desire”

Playing a dishevelled police detective in Columbo is what the late actor Peter Falk is most remembered for. He was in plenty of well-received movies including a classic German fantasy called Wings of Desire – which was eventually remade as City of Angels, starring Nicolas Cage and Meg Ryan. Falk plays himself, but in this universe, he’s a former angel who became human in order to better experience the world.
