9. Stout Scarab

In 1935, the designer William Bushnell Stout brought us the Stout Scarab. At the time, the car was considered both comfortable and versatile, made using luxury materials and the latest in technology. The car broke various records, but perhaps its most interesting feature is the driver’s seat which is the only one of the seats attached to the car; the others are all moveable. As a result, they can be manipulated to create a lounge complete with mini table or an office on wheels! All this in 1935!
