10 – Jean-Claude Van Damme in ”JCVD”

As a veteran member of Hollywood tough guys, Jean-Claude Van Damme has been punching and kicking his way to the top. In 2008, he starred in JCVD, a Belgian crime drama in which he portrayed himself as broken-down actor. He has plenty of embarrassing moments and demons from his past, so, playing this serious and truthful version of Van Damme couldn’t have been easy. The film ended up being one of the very few Van Damme movies that got positive reviews from critics.
