Djibouti is on the Horn of Africa, located south-east of Ethiopia. The capital is Djibouti and it is bordered by the Red Sea to the east. The government is therefore planning to focus on tourism, for business and pleasure, in order to expand the economy. It receives around 51,000 visitors each year, a rather low figure considering the country’s potential.
