The World's Least Visited Countries - San Marino

San Marino is a micro-state located in Italy. The capital is also called San Marino and it’s one of the least visited countries in Europe. Before it decided to focus on the tourism that now represents more than 60% of its GDP, San Marino’s economy was centred around agriculture and exportation. The country is famous for its stunning landscapes, museums and the legend of how it came to be. It receives, on average, 60,000 visitors a year – a relatively low number for a state whose surge in tourism is the most significant in Europe, according to the UNWTO.
